Accenture ( ACN ) said the acquisition expands its expertise in operational technology in the oil and gas industry and in mining with hardware and software systems used to run and control physical equipment and facilities like pipelines, refineries, plants and mines.

A team of True North Solutions automation, instrumentation and electrical engineering workers will join Accenture's ( ACN ) digital engineering and manufacturing service, Industry X.
