Accenture Makes Investment in Reality Defender to Help Fight Deepfake Fraud

09:22 AM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) said Tuesday it has made an investment in cybersecurity firm Reality Defender to help clients fight deepfake fraud.

Reality Defender's deepfake detection offerings aim to protect enterprises, government and institutional clients from audio-based deepfakes and artificial intelligence-generated faces in images and videos, Accenture ( ACN ) said.

Terms of the investment, which the company made through Accenture Ventures, were not disclosed.
