01:39 PM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) said Thursday its Adaptive Managed Extended Detection and Response, or MxDR, service is now equipped with new assets and capabilities, allowing users to enhance their Microsoft ( MSFT ) Security platforms with advanced, integrated tools.

Accenture MxDR for Microsoft ( MSFT ) unifies security data for faster threat detection, delivers AI agents for enhanced visibility, uses a centralized content library and factory to protect against well-known threats, and provides a guided approach for adopting Microsoft Security capabilities, Accenture ( ACN ) said.

Together with Microsoft ( MSFT ) and their joint venture Avanade, Accenture ( ACN ) said they are helping organizations use AI-powered tools mitigate threats quicker, optimize security operations and solidify business resilience.

Shares of Accenture ( ACN ) were up 4.1% while Microsoft ( MSFT ) stock was down 1% after midday Thursday.
