11:00 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) and OP Financial Group said Wednesday they have expanded their partnership to modernize OP's non-life insurance unit, Pohjola Insurance.

Under the multi-year agreement, Accenture ( ACN ) will help OP build a digital core for Pohjola Insurance by deploying a new cloud-based Guidewire platform to improve information technology operations and reduce costs, the companies said.

Accenture ( ACN ) will also manage ongoing IT system maintenance for Pohjola Insurance to speed up the launch of new services and products, they added.

The companies said they plan to use automation, analytics, and generative artificial intelligence to improve workflows and help employees respond faster to customer needs.

A joint transformation management team will oversee the initiative, focusing on improving customer service, cutting costs, and increasing market share, according to the companies.
