10:42 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) said Tuesday its Accenture Federal Services unit has won an up to $1.6 billion multi-cloud management services task order from the US Air Force.

The task order is the first of three follow-ons to the original contract and covers scaling and enhancement of the Air Force's Cloud One environment, the company said.

Accenture Federal Services will serve as a managed service provider for cloud account services and will also deliver multi-cloud billing and account management services for the Air Force, the company added.

This task order will last up to five years and three months, the company said.
