Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.15.

Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $16.47 billion, down from $16.56 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $16.54 billion.

The company said it expects Q4 revenue to be from $16.05 billion to $16.65 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $16.56 billion.

For fiscal 2024, the company expects adjusted EPS to be in the range of $11.85 to $12, lower than the prior outlook of $11.97 to $12.20. It narrowed its revenue growth forecast to 1.5% to 2.5%, from 1% to 3% previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $12.11 on revenue of $65.16 billion.

Shares of the company rose more than 5% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
