Chirag Parekh, Chairman and MD of Acrysil said, “We have already expanded another 100 thousand sinks which takes us to 600 thousand sinks annual capacity which we already started, we have already commenced our production which we have announced. We are getting a lot of traction in our business in India and from the international market so we have decided to expand another100 thousand sinks which we have disclosed.”
Parekh further added, “Our Quartz business is gaining traction. Our real aim right now is to how we do this in the shortest possible time. It is normally a 6-8 months story before you start any production but we have been able to do the first 100 thousand in less than four months’ time. We planned second 100 thousand probably by end of quarter one of 21-22.”
On Kacholia & Co stake sale Parekh said, “As Kacholia & Co has been a long term investor they have been around for many years in the company, but what we know it is they are long term players. It is at an appropriate time if they feel they want to sell some percent of stake, but that is fair enough. But overall they are long term investors and what sources we know they don’t have any plans to sell out anymore.”
On revenues he said, “I believe that if we are going at the rate of 30 percent increase in sales quarter-on-quarter, we should land up in FY22 approximately about 40-50 percent higher over last year.”
