Impactive becomes "Impactive by ActBlue," combining industry-leading fundraising with cutting-edge organizing tools to supercharge Democratic victories at every level

SOMERVILLE, Mass., Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ActBlue, the nation's leading Democratic fundraising platform, today announced the acquisition of Impactive, a premier Democratic organizing technology company. Starting immediately, Impactive will operate as "Impactive by ActBlue," marking a strategic expansion of ActBlue's mission to enable Democratic wins beyond fundraising and into comprehensive campaign operations.

ActBlue, the nation's leading Democratic fundraising platform, acquires Impactive.

Since 2017, Impactive has revolutionized Democratic organizing by providing more than 2,000 campaigns and organizations with best-in-class tools for texting, phone banking, relational organizing, and voter registration. The acquisition positions ActBlue to serve the complete campaign ecosystem, from grassroots fundraising through voter mobilization, as the organization enters a new era of innovation following the recent launch of Raise by ActBlue.

"This is about more than the technology—it's about access," said ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones. "We're putting million-dollar campaign capabilities in the hands of every Democratic candidate, regardless of their budget or team size."

"Delivering powerful organizing tools to tens of thousands of campaigns at scale has been Impactive's goal ever since our very first pitch deck. We were very excited to find strategic alignment with ActBlue, and can't wait to create the next generation of one-stop campaign tooling together," said Naseem Makiya, Founder and CEO of Impactive.

The acquisition comes as ActBlue serves more than 40,000 campaigns and entities on its platform, demonstrating the organization's continued growth and influence in Democratic politics. Impactive by ActBlue will maintain its separate platform during a three-month integration period, ensuring seamless service continuity for existing customers while development teams work on backend integration.

The acquisition supports ActBlue's strategic vision to launch "Campaign in a Box"—a comprehensive suite of tools that combines professional-grade fundraising with cutting-edge organizing and voter contact capabilities. This integrated approach aims to eliminate technological barriers for Democratic campaigns at all levels, from first-time city council candidates to national advocacy organizations.

"We went through a rigorous exploration process across both of our teams. What became clear is that Impactive has built something special: a platform that reduces barriers to entry in our political process while maintaining the high level of quality and trust that campaigns demand," said George Gilmer, ActBlue's Chief Financial Officer. Impactive by ActBlue maintains all of ActBlue's industry-leading security standards and compliance infrastructure while preserving the innovative organizing features that have made Impactive a trusted partner for Democratic campaigns nationwide. The platform continues to offer advanced texting capabilities, sophisticated phone banking tools, relationship-driven organizing features, and streamlined voter registration functionality.

The announcement builds on ActBlue's record-breaking performance, including processing $390 million in Q2 2025 alone and maintaining its position as the most trusted fundraising platform in Democratic politics. Since 2004, ActBlue has facilitated more than $17 billion in grassroots contributions while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to donor privacy and data security.

Current Impactive customers will continue using their platform without interruption, while new campaigns interested in exploring Impactive by ActBlue's organizing capabilities can learn more at the platform's website.
