10:06 AM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Adams Diversified Equity Fund ( ADX ) said Monday that it expects to purchase tendered shares on a pro rata basis as nearly 41.9 million shares were validly tendered and not withdrawn, exceeding the offer amount.

The fund expects to accept for payment all 12.4 million shares subject to the offer, which expired Friday.

Shares of Adams Diversified Equity Fund ( ADX ) were down 3% in recent Monday trading.
