ADC Therapeutics Launches $105 Million Offering; Shares Up 2% Pre-Bell

08:22 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ADC Therapeutics ( ADCT ) said Monday it has launched an underwritten offering of approximately 13.4 million shares at $4.90 each.

In lieu of the offering, certain investors will be able to choose pre-funded warrants to purchase 8,163,265 common shares for $4.812 per pre-funded warrant.

Gross proceeds from the offering, which is slated to close Wednesday, is expected to be approximately $105 million.

Shares of ADC Therapeutics ( ADCT ) were up more than 3% in recent Monday premarket activity.

Price: 5.0518, Change: +0.15, Percent Change: +3.10

CLSA put out a report last week, where they said that there will be increased competition, especially in the e-Sports business. Manish Agarwal, CEO of Nazara Technologies, said: “For us, e-Sports is a very small segment. The way we see this segment is that it’s going to disrupt the sports entertainment industry in the next 7-10 years, and after cricket, this is going to be the most watched sport. That is what I see, this space is going to grow. This space has really grown in the US, China and other markets, where it has been around for 7-8 years.”
