07:47 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ADF Group ( ADFJF ) , which builds steel superstructures, on Tuesday said it had $55 million of new orders from customers in Quebec and the U.S. Midwest.

Last year, the company won major contracts for the first and second phases of a buildout in the pharmaceutical sector in the U.S. Midwest and now has reached another agreement to construct the steel structure of an industrial-type building that is also part of the second phase. This additional work will be carried out over eight months.

The new orders also included steel fabrication contracts in Quebec's industrial sector, the company said.

The company's order backlog, which stood at $402.3 million on July 31, includes some of these new orders.
