Oct 29(Reuters) - German sportswear maker Adidas
on Wednesday said sales for its Adidas brand in North
America rose 8% on the year, excluding the impact of currency
movements, the weakest growth among its regions.
The company has increased prices in the United States to
offset the impact of tariffs.
Adidas released preliminary results and hiked its annual
profit outlook last week, saying it successfully offset part of
the extra costs caused by higher U.S. tariffs.
