09:24 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AdTheorent Holding ( ADTH ) said Thursday that an unnamed third party that had submitted an acquisition proposal to acquire the company for $3.35 per share has withdrawn the proposal.

The potential acquirer does not plan to submit another proposal, AdTheorent ( ADTH ) said.

The non-binding offer had been submitted during the "go-shop" period that followed AdTheorent's ( ADTH ) agreement to be acquired by television advertising services company Cadent for about $324 million in April, the company said.

AdTheorent's ( ADTH ) shares fell by nearly 8% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
