08:33 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aduro Clean Technologies ( ADUR ) on Thursday said it has filed a patent application in the U.S. for a new process to effectively implement its hydrochemolytic technology (HCT). The design will be integrated into the next generation process (NGP) pilot plant, which will be completed in the third quarter of this year.
A key innovation of the NGP design is that it uses widely available industrial equipment in a new way, to enable a more efficient and scalable implementation of HCT. "By rethinking conventional processing methods, Aduro has developed a practical and scalable solution to overcome longstanding challenges in chemical recycling," the company said in a statement.
Aduro uses chemistry to transform "lower value feedstocks", like waste plastics, heavy bitumen, and renewable oils, into usable resources.
ACT rose $0.16 or 2% at $8.24 yesterday.
