04:33 PM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) reported Q3 non-GAAP earnings late Tuesday of $0.92 per diluted share, up from $0.70 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.92.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 28 was $6.82 billion, up from $5.80 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $6.71 billion.

The chipmaker said it expects Q4 revenue of about $7.5 billion, plus or minus $300 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $7.55 billion.

Shares of the company were down 6.3% in recent after-hours activity.
