01:08 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) tapped Samsung Electro-Mechanics to provide high-performance substrates for hyperscale data center computing, the Samsun Group affiliate said Monday.

The collaboration aims to integrate multiple semiconductor chips on a single large substrate, or software framework, for advanced central processing unit and graphics processing unit applications and data centers, with increased surface areas and layer counts, Samsung Electro-Mechanics said.
