05:43 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advantage Energy ( AAVVF ) late Tuesday said its third-quarter loss narrowed despite weak natural-gas prices.
The Wester Canadian oil and gas producer said it lost $43,000, or nil per share, in the quarter, compared with a loss of $6.49 million, or $0.04, in the year-prior period.
Sales fell 6.5% to $130.81 million as its production fell to 71,482 barrels of oil equivalent from 74,371, while its average natural gas price rose 44% to $2.37 per thousand cubic feet.
"With production now returned to normal levels, we remain firmly on track to achieve our annual guidance range ($4.95/boe to $5.30/boe) as we move into the fourth quarter," the company said.
Shares of the company closed down $0.25 to $11.12 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
