11:33 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Adyton Resources ( ADYRF ) on Monday reported a fatality at the Gameta Project in Papua New Guinea.

The incident involved a casual employee engaged by Adyton's joint-venture partner who was killed as a result of an accident while operating a drilling rig. No other person was injured in the accident.

An internal investigation into the accident will be started. Drilling operations at Gameta have been temporarily suspended and will resume once it is determined that they can be done in a safe manner, a statement said.

Adyton shares were last seen up $0.02 to $0.44 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
