11:12 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Adyton Resources ( ADYRF ) on Wednesday said an ongoing review of historical data set at its Feni Island project in Papua New Guinea identified a number of prospective copper-gold mineralized targets which have never been drill tested.
The company said a field program is planned for later this month to sample "highly prospective" epithermal-porphyry gold-copper prospects as identified through the data review and recent magnetic data analysi.
"It is always nice when doing these kind of data reviews to be consistently surprised on the upside with findings. These findings along with the unquestionable regional geological setting continue to galvanize us about the copper-gold mineralization potential at Feni Island," chief executive Tim Crossley said in a release.
The company's shares were last seen up $0.01 to $0.12 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
