02:07 PM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AECOM ( ACM ) said Monday its joint venture with Jacobs was selected as Amtrak's delivery partner for the $6 billion Frederick Douglass Tunnel Program.

The program mainly involves the delivery of a new train tunnel that will replace the existing 150-year-old tunnel south of Baltimore Penn Station, the company said.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
