02:34 PM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aecon Group ( AEGXF ) said on Thursday that it will deliver civil engineering services to New Brunswick Power to rehabilitate the 672 MW Mactaquac Generating Station to ensure it operates for its intended 100-year lifespan.

The Mactaquac Improvement Partnership, comprised of Aecon ( AEGXF ), FlatironDragados and Green Infrastructure Partners, will design and develop cost estimates for parts of the project over a year-long development phase, a statement said.

The construction phase is expected to start in the second quarter of 2027 and will end in 2039.

Aecon Group Shares were last seen up C$0.32, to C$44.73, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
