08:18 AM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aegis Brands ( SCUPF ) , owner of the St. Louis Bar and Grill and Wing City by St. Louis, said on Friday that it swung to a profit in the second quarter.
The company booked net income of $1 million, or $0.01 per share, reversing a loss of $145,000, or a loss of $0.00 per share.
Adjusted net income increased to $185,000, or $0.00 per share, from $179,000, or $0.00 per share.
"Since Aegis' acquisition of St. Louis, the brand has delivered positive same store sales with the last three quarters producing 9.4%, 13.6% and 11.6% respectively," said Steven Pelton, president and CEO of Aegis Brands ( SCUPF ). "In uncertain economic times, these results are truly impressive."
Aegis' share price rose 5.3% yesterday to $0.40.
