08:35 AM EDT, 04/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aeluma ( ALMU ) said Tuesday that it has received a NASA award to advance its integrated quantum dot laser platform for data communication and sensing applications.

The company said the award will provide it with non-dilutive funding to accelerate the commercialization of its quantum dot lasers for silicon photonics.

The technology has potential in data center interconnect applications due to its high power handling, reliability, and low noise, Aeluma ( ALMU ) said.

Shares of the company were up 8.6% in Tuesday's premarket activity.
