03:08 PM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aemetis ( AMTX ) said Tuesday it has secured Authority to Construct air permits for its sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel production plant in Riverbank, California.

The facility is expected to produce 90 million gallons per year when allocating half to SAF and the other half to renewable diesel production, and 78 million gallons per year when allocating all production to SAF for the aviation market, the firm said.

Shares of Aemetis ( AMTX ) were down about 4% in recent trading.
