08:04 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AerCap ( AER ) and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance said Tuesday that they are in exclusive talks to establish a joint venture to lease LEAP aircraft engines.

The companies said they plan to own and manage a fleet of CFMI LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines for Airbus A320neo and Boeing ( BA ) 737 MAX planes.

The joint venture is subject to regulatory approval, the company said.
