AeroVironment Gets $288 Million Delivery Order for Switchblade Munition Systems

05:37 PM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said Monday it received a $288 million delivery order under the US Army's directed requirement for lethal unmanned systems for its Switchblade loitering munition systems.

The delivery is part of the Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground's five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a ceiling value of $990 million, according to the company.

Shares of the company were up 3% in recent after-hours activity.
