10:16 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Taiwan's National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology to partner on autonomous systems and technology to support Taiwan's defense and security needs.

The firm said it will provide technical expertise, training, and sustainment processes to help the institute build infrastructure, with initial focus on its JUMP 20 and JUMP 20-X vertical takeoff and landing fixed-wing platforms.
