10:13 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said Friday that it signed a new firm-fixed-price contract option with the US Space Force Space Rapid Capabilities Office for the delivery of two BADGER phased array antenna systems.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The BADGER system will be used to support the Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource, or SCAR, program, with the first unit expected to be delivered to the Space Force "in the coming months," the company said.

AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said it has expanded its manufacturing agreements with several key suppliers to meet the increasing demand and reinforce its production pipelines for BADGER systems.

Shares of AeroVironment ( AVAV ) were up 1% in recent trading Friday.
