12:42 PM EDT, 09/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AeroVironment ( AVAV ) shares were higher Monday after the company said the US Army lifted a stop work order it issued on a contract with the company.

The company said it will now start fulfilling a $128 million delivery order that was issued under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract between the US Army and AeroVironment ( AVAV ).

The protest against the contract award, which has a ceiling of $990 million, is still being reviewed by the US Government Accountability Office, even though the stop work order has been lifted, AeroVironment ( AVAV ) said.
