08:03 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AES ( AES ) subsidiary Maximo said Wednesday it has completed the installation of 100MW of utility-scale solar capacity at the company's Bellefield project in California.
The robotic fleet deployed during the installation was supported by Nvidia ( NVDA ) technologies, including Nvidia Omniverse libraries and the Nvidia Isaac Sim open robotics simulation framework, the company said.
Maximo, a solar robotics company, said leveraging Nvidia's ( NVDA ) AI infrastructure allowed the company to develop, test, and refine robotic capabilities through physics-based simulation and AI-driven modeling prior to deploying updates in the field.
Additionally, Amazon's ( AMZN ) AWS powered the development, deployment, and operation of the company's AI-driven field systems, Maximo said.
