Aeva Technologies Launches AI Traffic Intelligence Platform

08:39 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aeva Technologies ( AEVA ) said Tuesday it has launched its intelligent transportation systems platform for real-time traffic intelligence using Nvidia's ( NVDA ) AGX Orin.

The company said the CityOS platform combines 4D LiDAR sensors with edge AI processing to digitize roadways and intersections, aiming to improve safety, efficiency and data-driven transportation planning.

Additionally, the platform also enables continuous traffic monitoring and classification of objects, pedestrians and cyclists, supporting applications such as traffic flow optimization, wrong-way driving detection and near-miss analysis, the company said.
