04:01 AM EDT, 05/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Affiliated Managers Group ( AMG ) said late Thursday it acquired a minority stake in investment management firm Suma Capital.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Suma, which invests in the transition to a lower carbon economy, has about $800 million in assets under management mainly across infrastructure and growth strategies. The firm's partners will continue to hold a substantial majority interest and direct its daily operations.
