Africa Oil Buys Almost 1 Million Shares in Buyback Program

06:59 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Africa Oil ( AOIFF ) said on Monday that it acquired 994,000 common shares last week under its previously announced buyback program.

From June 3-7, the company repurchased 444,000 common shares on the TSX, and/or alternative Canadian trading systems. Africa Oil ( AOIFF ) also bought back 550,000 common shares on Nasdaq Stockholm.

The company will cancel all the shares repurchased under the buyback program.

Africa Oil's ( AOIFF ) shares fell 1.6% in Canada on Friday.
