Africa Oil Reports Results of Share Buyback Program

08:12 AM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Africa Oil ( AOIFF ) said earlier Monday that it repurchased 416,700 shares from Dec. 23 to Dec. 27 under its previously announced share buyback program.

The buys include 196,700 shares repurchased on the TSX and/or alternative Canadian trading systems, and 220,000 shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. Both repurchases were made on behalf of the company.

Africa Oil's ( AOIFF ) share price rose 2.1% on Friday to $1.91 on the TSX.
