Afya Subsidiary Signs $88.7 Million Loan Agreement to Fund Expansion

04:22 AM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Afya ( AFYA ) said late Wednesday its Afya Participacoes unit signed a loan agreement with the International Finance Corporation to finance its expansion program through acquisitions.

IFC will loan up to 500 million Brazilian reais ($88.7 million). The loan will be repaid in seven, equal semi-annual installments starting in April 2027.

The pricing of the loan is linked to the medical education group reaching performance target levels in selected social indicators.
