Agilent Technologies Fiscal Q3 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Decrease; Fiscal 2024 Outlook Raised

04:42 PM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Agilent Technologies ( A ) reported fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings late Wednesday of $1.32 per diluted share, down from $1.43 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.26.

Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was $1.58 billion, down from $1.67 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.56 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $1.38 to $1.42 on revenue of $1.64 billion to $1.69 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect non-GAAP EPS of $1.44 and revenue of $1.67 billion.

Agilent ( A ) said it now expects fiscal year 2024 non-GAAP EPS of $5.21 to $5.25, versus previous guidance of $5.15 to $5.25. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $5.20. The company expects revenue for the year of $6.45 billion to $6.50 billion, versus $6.42 billion to $6.50 billion previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $6.46 billion.

Shares of the company rose 1.4% in recent trading.
