AGNC Investment Swings to Q3 Earnings, Net Interest Expense Increases

04:35 PM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AGNC Investment ( AGNC ) reported Q3 comprehensive income late Monday of $0.63 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $1.02 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected normalized EPS of $0.50.

Net interest expense in the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $64 million from $53 million a year earlier.
