Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.02.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $2.16 billion from $1.64 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.11 billion.

The company said its board maintained a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share, payable Dec. 16 to shareholders of record on Nov. 29.
