08:03 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Agnico Eagle Mines ( AEM ) said Monday it sold its stake of about 18% in Royal Road Minerals for a total consideration of 5.51 million Canadian dollars ($3.96 million).

The company said it sold 47.94 million common shares at CA$0.115 per share and it does not have plans to acquire shares or other securities of Royal Road after the stake sale.

Shares of Agnico Eagle Mines ( AEM ) were up 2.5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
