Aimia's Fourth-Quarter Loss Widens on One-Time Charges
Mar 26, 2024 5:31 AM

08:10 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aimia ( AIMFF ) on Tuesday said its fourth-quarter loss widened on one-time charges.

The investment-holding company lost C$59.0 million, or C$0.69 per share, in the period, compared with a loss of C$23.3 million, or C$0.32, in the year prior quarter.

Revenue rose to C$100.1 million from C$0.3 million.

The company said the widened loss came on a "a $54.9 million net change in the fair value of investments at Aimia's ( AIMFF ) non-core investments".

"It's important to bear in mind that our consolidated results reflect partial year contributions from our core platform companies and include non-cash losses to certain minority investments held at the holding company," executive chair Tom Finke said in a release.

Aimia ( AIMFF ) shares closed unchanged at C$2.70 Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
