08:56 AM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ainos (AIMD) said Friday it is expanding its partnership with ASE Technology ( ASX ) to deploy its AI Nose technology in more sites, enabling analysis of scent signals into machine-readable "Smell IDs."

The companies are planning a multi-phase rollout that could reach up to 15,000 units, Ainos said.

The first phase involves deploying about 1,400 units for evaluation, followed by expansion to 5,000 units across cleanrooms and production zones, the company said.

Shares of Ainos added more than 5% in recent premarket activity.
