Air Canada Completes $500 Million Substantial Issuer Bid

07:02 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Canada ( ACDVF ) on Wednesday said it has closed its $500 million substantial issuer bid and will pay for 26.6 million of its Class A and Class B shares at $18.80 apiece.

The substantial issuer bid is another step towards Air Canada's ( ACDVF ) goal of reducing its fully diluted number of shares below 300 million by 2028, the company said.
