Air Canada Expanding its Sun Network with 55 Caribbean and US Destinations this Winter; Launching New Weekly Flights from Quebec City to Tulum

08:35 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Air Canada ( ACDVF ) , which fell more than 2% and nearer to 52 week lows yesterday, on Wednesday boosted its 2024-25 winter sun network, with increased frequencies and featuring new routes from Ottawa and Quebec City to Tulum and from Montreal to Saint Maarten.

In addition, it said, more flights are scheduled from Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver to popular vacation destinations in Florida and the Caribbean. This winter, Air Canada ( ACDVF ) plans to operate up to 50 flights departing Canada every day, serving a total of 55 Caribbean and US Sun vacation destinations.

Air Canada ( ACDVF ) added it is launching new weekly flights from Quebec City to Tulum, Mexico's newest airport in the Yucatan peninsula, beginning Dec. 13, 2024. The airline will also resume non-stop services from Quebec City for winter 2024-25 to popular sun destinations: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Punta Cana and Cancun.
