09:04 AM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Canada ( ACDVF ) said Thursday that it extended a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa to include Deutsche Bahn-operated Lufthansa Express Rail services at Frankfurt Airport in Germany.

The airline said the agreement enables a seamless, intermodal itinerary booked in one reservation, offering flexibility and convenience to connect with its flights in the airport.

"Our intermodal connections provide customers with more travel options and make it easier for them to reach their final destinations," said Mark Galardo, executive vice president and chief commercial officer and president of Air Canada Cargo.

"By elevating our partnership to a codeshare, we enhance the travel experience for our customers, enabling them to book through Air Canada ( ACDVF ) for both air and rail travel," Galardo said.

Air Canada ( ACDVF ) will operate up to five times daily to Frankfurt in 2025.
