08:43 AM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Canada ( ACDVF ) on Friday said it launched its newest international flight from Montreal to Edinburgh, Scotland, which will be operated on its Boeing 737 MAX 8.

A statement noted the flights from Montreal will be on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from June 26 to September 7, and from Edinburgh on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, from June 27 to September 7.

The company also noted it had inaugurated its Montreal to Porto and Toronto to Prague routes earlier this month, celebrated the launch of its Naples route in May, and marked the return of the Ottawa to London Heathrow route in April.

Shares of the company closed up 3.4% to $20.49 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
