07:49 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Industries Group ( AIRI ) said Thursday it received a $2.6 million contract to provide main landing gear assemblies for the US Navy's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft.

The contract will focus on aftermarket maintenance, repair or overhaul of existing aircraft already in service.

The company said the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye is tasked with identifying threats, coordinating aircraft movements and managing airspace around Aircraft Carrier Battle Groups.
