Air Lease Says Q1 Aircraft Investments Totaled $800 Million

07:22 AM EDT, 04/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Lease ( AL ) said Tuesday that its aircraft investments in Q1 totaled about $800 million.

The aircraft leasing company said 14 new aircraft from its orderbook were delivered during the quarter, with 225 new aircraft on order from Boeing ( BA ) and Airbus set for delivery through 2029.

Air Lease ( AL ) said it sold 16 aircraft to third-party buyers in Q1, with sales proceeds totaling about $520 million.

The company also received $328.5 million in cash insurance settlement proceeds during the quarter.
