Air Products COO Samir Serhan Resigns; Company Forms Management Board

10:32 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Air Products and Chemicals ( APD ) said Monday in a regulatory filing that Samir Serhan has resigned as chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Serhan is expected to remain with the company until Sept. 30, the firm said.

Separately, Air Products also said it has formed a management board consisting of senior executives to execute its two-pillar growth strategy to optimize and grow its core industrial gases business while advancing the energy transition through clean hydrogen.

Chief Executive Seifi Ghasemi will lead the management board, the company said.

The company's shares were falling almost 3% in recent trading.
