11:44 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Air Products and Chemicals ( APD ) said Wednesday its Air Products San Fu unit has agreed to a 10-year power purchase agreement for solar electricity with Tatung's Tatung Forever Energy.

The deal, which beings in Q4, will allow Air Products San Fu to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by an amount equivalent to the electricity-related emissions of more than 80,000 Taiwan households over the duration of the agreement, the company said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
