08:37 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Transat, a business unit of Transat A.T ( TRZBF ). (TRZ.TO), on Thursday launched a new route between Toronto (YYZ) and Medellin (MDE), the capital of Antioquia departamento in northwestern Colombia, subject to regulatory approvals.

The company said the new twice weekly service will add a frequency to the flight schedule to the popular destination of Cartagena from Toronto. It added that details of its full Winter 2025-2026 program, including the start date of operations and the opening of sales, will be announced soon.

TRZ edged down $0.01 at $1.67 yesterday.
